The Valsugana Valley is a valley in the south-east of Trentino, not much far from the border with the Vicenza district. It spreads from west to east. On the south is bounded by the plateaux of Asiago, Luserna, Lavarone and Folgaria and on the north by the Lagorai Chain. The west end is not far from the city of Trento and and Adige Valley and the east end become narrow between the plateau of Asiago ant the Monte Grappa. Here it takes the name of Brenta Channel and in a few km is became part of the venetian plain, in the surroundings of Bassano del Grappa.
The Valsugana Valley is pass trough by the statly road SS47, for the mainLa Valsugana è percorsa dalla strada statale 47, in buona parte a quattro corsie, che collega direttamente Bassano del Grappa (e da qui Vicenza e Padova) e Trento, passando per Borgo Valsugana, Pergine Valsugana e Civezzano. C'è anche una linea ferroviaria che collega Trento con il Veneto orientale (Bassano del Grappa, Padova e Venezia); nel tratto compreso tra Borgo Valsugana e Trento, passando per Pergine Valsugana è entrata in funzione una 'metropolitana di superficie, con corse molto frequenti ed integrate con le corse delle autocorriere. Strade minori collegano la valle con la Valle di Fiemme (attraverso il Passo Manghen) e con gli altipiani sul versante meridionale.
Si possono distinguere due settori diversi della valle, da ovest a est: l'Alta Valsugana, cioè la zona di Pergine e dei laghi di Levico e di Caldonazzo, e la Bassa Valsugana.
Tra le valli laterali della Valsugana si ricordano la Valle dei Mocheni, la Val di Sella e la Conca del Tesino con i comuni di Pieve Tesino, Castello Tesino e Cinte Tesino.

Swiming pool:
Everyone has a way to think about it, the holiday. Active persons need to make sport, and to discover new opportunities, to learn and test different ways; there is also persons that understand holiday like a moment to detach from the all-day life, fool of work engagement and responsibility.
The swiming pool, like the other rooms of Hotel Cristallo, can be a meeting point of these two ways to understand.
Whirlpool bath:
A plunge, a wooden little bridge and the little ladder, ... the pacific passing time and the healthy embrace of the warm water. In a moment you swim from the swiming pool to the whirlpool. Let yourself to pamper in the delicate massage and free the mind.
Sauna and biosauna:
Together with the swiming pool, the whirlpool and the gym, sauna is part of the wellness area of the Hotel.
In the sauna it is possible to make the biosauna and the finnish sauna, also you can match aromatheraoy and chromatherapy.
Air temperature averages around 70-80 degrees Celsius, the humidity has a level of 10-15%, but with the steam vapor it reaches between 25 and 30%, the steam vapor is created by splashing water on some heated rocks, that stay in a receptacle in the middle of the room.
In the biosauna (also called the light sauna) one can relax with a temperature of 40 to 55°C, there is a continous humidity of 45 to 55%. One schould stay in the sauna for a maximum of 45 minutes. One best cools down to a maximum of 34°C with a shower or Kneipp hose. The bio-sauna causes only minor stress to the heart and circulation and provides a good relaxation of musculature and psyche. Furthermore, the metabolism is accelerated and is an optimal means or purifying the body of harmful substances.
Contraindication: high or low blood pressure, cardiopathy, pregnancy, claustrophobia.
Fittness:
the gym offers ciclette, rowing and other devices to train.
