Welcome to Levico Terme, the Pearl of the Valsugana

Right in the earth of the Valsugana, in Trentino, Levico is surrounded by the Lagorai and the Vigolana mountains. Known for the healing properties of its thermal waters and the attention put on rest and relax, there’s also much more than that: mountain hikes and climbing, bike paths and the wonderful scenarios make Levico the ideal place for trekking, mountain and road bike lovers. It’s also a great starting point for tours and holidays on motorcycle, driving among great views.

The Valsugana

There is so much worthy a visit in Valsugana: its pure and rich natural environment, with woods, meadows, rivers and lakes and a rich history to learn. The valley is surrounded by the Lagorai mountains, by one side, and by the Marzola, the Plateau and the Vigolana on the others. Nature, woods, plains, rivers and lakes simply represent the ideal place where to enjoy your holiday, both if you’re looking for some rest or you wish to be active.

Folgaria, Luserna and Lavarone plateaus

Welcome in a tradition rich region, where you can really breathe history. For those who want to discover the amazing and terrific scenarios of World War I, we suggest a visit on these plateaus, still rich in forts, trenches and passages. The Belvedere-Gschwendt museum is a must-see, placed in the only fort still untouched.

The Pinè plateau and the Val di Cembra

A sweet, delicate view with small towns, woods, meadows and tiny lakes is the main aspect of this plateau. The Serraia lake and the Segonzano pyramids are just two of the many suggestions we could give you to make you enjoy your stay. In Val di Cembra, don’t miss the typical terracing where the famous Müller Thurgau grapes grow.

The Val dei Mòcheni

Thanks to its appealing meadows, larch and red spruce woods, the “Val dei Mòcheni” is also known as enchanted land because of its wonderful scenarios, surrounded by the high peaks of the Lagorai mountains Eastern side. You’ll find there the ancient cultural tradition of the German medieval settlers, the “Mòcheni”, as well as the modern and typical small fruit cultivation, with its strawberry, raspberry and blueberry fields.

Castles

There are many castles in Trentino, standing there as witnesses of its long history and its traditions, as well as its strong link to the surrounding nature. Close to Levico Terme, you may discover some sprouts of Italian history in the Castle of Pergine or, in Trento, in the Buonconsiglio Castle.
