You’ll surely have to ration your energy to reach the top of the Passo Manghen, not only for the length of the climb, but also because the latest kilometres are the hardest. While the climb rate is not too high at the beginning, after the Telve fork there are 8 more kilometres before you’ll be able to breathe again. Then, you’ll find a slight slope where you’ll have the chance to admire the wonderful overlook on Val Calamento with its meadows and Alpine cottages – anyway, here it comes again, and there’s a final, never-ending climb.
